America’s Grape Country, home to the Chautauqua-Lake Erie Wine Trail has three times as many vineyards as the Finger Lakes region?

Bob Mazza track testing at Nelson Ledges

In preparation for the July 4th weekend race-meeting at Nelson Ledges, Cleveland Ohio, Bob Mazza takes a day off to track test and have the crew fine-tune his Toyota race car.

Robert Mazza, owner and proprietor of Mazza Vineyards, is a truly motivated and busy man. You may have seen him interviewed on local television whenever wine or grapes are deemed newsworthy. He has long been intricately involved and instrumental in moving the wine industry forward in the state of Pennsylvania. Robert has served on numerous committees and boards for both the Wine and Tourism industries, such as the PA Farm Show Commission and the Chautauqua-Lake Erie Wine Trail, and he served as the first president of the Lake Erie Quality Wine Alliance. The winery is also a charter member of LEQWA and the Pennsylvania Wine Association.

Unsurprisingly, Robert is just as motivated and active in his leisure activities as he is in his work; his hobby of choice is auto racing. Though involved in the Porsche Club of America (PCA) for many years, Robert currently races his Toyota Celica in Sports Car Club of America races.
